This paper is made from the bark of Dó (Rhamnoneuron), a local plant that grows abundantly in Vietnam.
Dó paper is famous for its durability, thanks to its long fiber resulted from a handmade technique which has existed for more than 800 years.
Dó paper has been produced by our artisans in Dong Cao village (Bac Ninh province) through many generations but now, only a few families still produce it. We work with them to try to preserve this ancient technique. By making contemporary design products using this paper, we wish to keep this tradition alive even in our modern life.
