Our Paper Making Tour is a unique experience, not only to learn about the paper making process but also to understand the livelihood of Muong ethnic minority in the North of Vietnam.

In the morning, you will first visit the papermaking family in Suôi Co village for a presentation about the paper making history and the whole process behind it, you will go  and see how the paper makers work on making Do paper for their livelihood. Dó paper is manufactured through a painstaking process requiring up to 100 steps and is famous for being durable and having a beautiful texture on the surface thanks to the long fiber and handmade process. You also can join them in all the process.

In the afternoon, we will have small trek around the village to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful landscapes.

    please put me on your mailing list….I will be in Hanoi area Feb14-25th and would love to participate in a papermaking workshop. there will be 3 other ladies traveling with me. thank you, Mary Lou Lipkin
